Marketing SpecialistSalary: $44,750-$60,810, commensurate with experience and qualifications Position Summary: Provide assistance to the Chief Information Officer in coordinating marketing and public relations activities for the Association. Assist with marketing and public relations strategy development and implementation and development of the business plan. Develop, design, and produce brochures, flyers, collateral marketing pieces, magazines, and newsletters, as well as design layouts, edit, and proofread copy, and coordinate timely printing and distribution. Manage and maintain Association’s website and any social media presence. Plan and coordinate annual Customer Appreciation meetings. Produce press releases and assist with media inquiries. Manage various events including Ag Days and trade shows. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or related field. Post-graduate degree preferred. Minimum three years experience in marketing and public relations position, preferably with agricultural business, cooperative, or financial institution. Proficiency in the use of graphic design, spreadsheet, and database management software. Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines. Ability to travel for farm visits, branch/customer meetings, training, etc. Must possess valid driver’s license and have acceptable background reports (credit, criminal, driving, and education verification). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading, and interpersonal relationship skills.
