Words from our Happy
Customers . . .
|
My husband,
Michael, and I became customers of Farm Credit 16 years ago. I can’t
talk about Farm Credit without talking about Gary Dillard. To me, Gary
is Farm Credit. I know he works for Farm Credit, but I have always felt
he is working for me. A few years into our first BIG loan, we amended
the loan for a 4% cheaper interest rate. That was many, many thousands
of dollars savings for us!
Gary has always made it so easy to get a loan. When we wanted to expand
our Poultry Farm, or to buy equipment, cattle or to build a large shop
for my husband to work on farm equipment in there was never a problem.
With Teresa Hall’s skills as a Loan Officer Manager, getting a check
the same day wasn’t even a problem!
Mike and I stopped dealing with the large chain banks many years ago
because they couldn’t loan money the way we needed it. Farm Credit has
different re-payment plans that work with-in our farming business. I
have never felt the financial worry that many farmers experience because
I know that Farm Credit is there for us.

"When Donna and I were relocating to
Amelia county, we found the perfect property. We had a
builder ready to begin when we came upon a problem. At just the right
time, we found Bev Moon with Farm Credit and she saved the day. With her
local knowledge and relationships, she was able to locate and put
together the information required by the builder so we could move
forward with our dream home.
We found the process very user friendly
and the rates competitive. When we decided to start our alpaca farm, it
was a no-brainer as to where we would go for advice and help with
financing. Bev and Farm Credit came through again and we now have a
growing farm business. Our future plans are to expand our alpaca
business and you can believe that Bev and Farm Credit will be
involved."

Carleton Callaham is General
Manager of Farm Service Company, Inc. in Lynchburg, Virginia, and
also has a part-time beef cattle farm. He has a credit line with Colonial
Farm Credit.
Carleton commented that
"Colonial Farm Credit consistently gives excellent personal service
to his customers, has competitive interest rates, and in many instances
just as quick turnaround time as their in-house financing."
"I chose Colonial Farm
Credit because of the ease of doing business, competitive rates, easy
one-page application, minimal fees, and I don't have the hassle of
reapplying for the part-time farm credit line each year."

"Colonial
Farm Credit helped my wife and I to purchase a valuable piece of
property in Nottoway County while still allowing us to keep our
financial portfolio intact. A neighbor of ours referred us to them. Upon
contacting them, we were immediately welcomed by Hilary and her warm,
courteous staff. It was then that we realized everything our neighbor
told us was true. The process was painless. It moved along faster than
any of the other procedural parts of the transaction. They were ahead of
the process every step of the way. They saved us time and money. We
would like to thank Farm Credit for their prompt service and also for
the hospitality of their employees. We will refer friends and family to
them in the future." James
